Christopher Lee is the Resource Sharing Manager for the California State University system out of the Chancellor’s Office. Prior to this position, Chris worked in Resource Sharing at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. He also got his start in libraries as a student worker in Resource Sharing at Utah State University.

Chris will be presenting on how staff can take control of their Rapido instance with a few additional Alma roles at the beginning of the conference, and will close out the conference with a presentation on what to expect over the next academic year.

Meghann Weldon is the Product Manager for Rapido at Ex Libris, part of Clarivate. Meghann is working with libraries using Rapido to support their success and meet their resource sharing goals. Through this work Meghann brings back the library voice and experience to rest of the Rapido team.  Meghann’s background is in resource sharing, access services, and user experience after working for 9 years in the CSU system at Cal Poly Humboldt. This included working as an interlibrary loan student assistant who loved treasure hunting to fill requests, and progressed to being an I-SPIE conference host, RSFC committee member, and continually learning and growing at Humboldt while completing SJSU’s MLIS program.

Kaitlyn O’Malley is a Senior Technical Solution Consultant with Ex Libris, Part of Clarivate. She has been with Ex Libris for 6 years. Prior to that she was an Access Services and Resource Sharing Librarian. Kaitlyn fell in love with interlibrary loan when she found you get to be a detective with a mystery that you need to solve. Her background also involves usability testing and consortia support. Now, she enjoys working with libraries and helping them find ways to best meet their unique user needs.

Assistant Director for eJournal Relations and Liaison to the SCELC Shared Print and Resource Sharing Committees. Joined SCELC July 2016 after serving as the Saint Mary's College of California Head of Collection Management and Acquisitions and several other roles, including overseeing the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services, before that exciting time when we joined and implemented LINK+. Worked as an Interlibrary Loan Assistant at Willamette University for six years before heading to Berkeley for the MLIS.

I look forward to learning how we can all collaborate to expand resource sharing in the West.

During my 30+ years in libraries, I have honed my expertise in access services, circulation, interlibrary loan, and course reserves. My career has been marked by enriching experiences at various renowned institutions, including San Diego State University, UC San Diego, Stanford Lane Medical Library, San Jose Public Library, and Saint Mary's College of California.

As a former student at San Diego State University, I had the privilege of witnessing the inception of Link+ and SD Circuit, two groundbreaking initiatives that revolutionized the way we connect and access resources. Throughout my journey in libraries, I have remained passionate about enhancing user experiences and fostering seamless access to knowledge for all patrons. My dedication to the field has been a driving force behind my contributions to the library community over the years

Lori joined the Alliance as the Program Manager for Resource Sharing & Fulfillment in August 2019, and she additionally managed the Discovery & User Experience program from October 2020 through July 2022. Her previous positions include Circulation Supervisor at the The Valley Library, Oregon State University and Public Services Unit Coordinator at Hamersly Library, Western Oregon University. Prior to joining Alliance staff she worked extensively on Alliance teams and groups, as well as DJing at a country music radio station for 3 days before being let go.

She possesses skills in fulfillment configuration, letters and notices, making coffee and talking to people. She loves to play board games and ultimately drives others away with her obsessive eagerness. She also has to eat the entire contents of a bag of cookies, chips or candy once the bag has been opened. Beware.

Priscilla Ortiz is a Resource Sharing Specialist at California State University, San Bernardino and has 9 years of experience working in the Interlibrary Loan Department there. She loves collaborating within the resource sharing community and believes there is always something to be learned through discussion. Priscilla has served on multiple I-SPIE conference planning committees, is currently the Chair for the ULMS Resource Sharing Functional Committee (RSFC) and member of I-SPIE TV. Priscilla be presenting today on “World Café: Building Connections: The Road to Success”

Cassandra Swartzwelder is the Resource Sharing and Collections Specialist at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and has worked in libraries for over twelve years. Cassandra discovered her love and passion for working in libraries as a student worker and eventually went on to get her MLIS. Prior to working at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo she worked in the Circulations department at CSU Fresno. She has been on multiple CSU conference planning committee's and hosted the 2017 I-SPIE conference. Cassandra will be leading a discussion on CONTU and Copyright.

Allyce Ondricka is the head of Interlibrary Services at San Francisco State University. They have worked in libraries since 2008, starting from the bottom as a student assistant, and have taken on many roles in the field, including reference services, circulation, shelving, and interlibrary services. They love collaborating with other library workers, especially across functional units, and work hard to make the library an inclusive space for all. Their favorite aspect of ILL is the detective work involved, especially with the “weird” and problem requests. They will be doing a participatory lightning round on how to solve issues with understaffing in the interlibrary services world.

Leah Joy is a Resource Sharing Specialist at San Francisco State University. Prior to that, she worked as a Circulation Supervisor at Cornerstone University. The element of her job she is most passionate about is enabling others to pursue their research passions by building bridges between users and the resources they need. She will be co-hosting lightning round understaffing in the interlibrary services world with her colleague, Allyce Ondricka.

Nikki DeMoville is the Coordinator for Electronic Resources, Acquisitions, Resource Sharing, and Discovery at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.  She grew up helping in a school library and has spent her entire career working in libraries, including over 30 years at Cal Poly. She is involved in all day-to-day aspects of how resources are acquired and made available to library patrons and enjoys solving thorny access or configuration problems.  Nikki is presenting today on ways that Patron Query Letters can help save time and effort in the resource sharing workflow.

Christina L. Hennessey is the Systems Librarian at California State University, Northridge and has worked in libraries for 23 years, including 5 years at CSUN. She loves working with all the CSU folks in resource sharing and really loves working with Alma letters and helping other libraries improve their Alma letters. Alma letters and our Primo interfaces are often the only interaction we have with our library patrons, and she is passionate about what we can do to make those things better to make our patrons happy. Christina will be presenting at I-SPIE on ‘Empowering library staff and pleasing patrons through Alma letters” and in a Lightning Talk on Labels.

Natalya Magazino works in the library at California State University, San Marcos where she coordinates Interlibrary Loan borrowing and Alma resource sharing operations. She loves collaborating on projects with her CSU colleagues and is passionate about how analytics can be used to highlight resource sharing service strengths and areas in need of improvement. Natalya will be presenting today on, ‘Resource Sharing Statistics in Alma Analytics at the CSU’.
